Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (D)
Upon arrival in Hanoi, our tour guide will greet you at the exit then transfer to hotel. After checking in the hotel, you will be free to refresh then our tour guide will come back and go with you to local restaurant for welcome dinner with Nem Cuon or fresh spring roll. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour - Night Train to Sapa (B)
After breakfast at your hotel, visit Ho Chi Minh Complex including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh's House on Stilt and One Pillar Pagoda, then visit Temple of Literature, built 1070 which is the first university in Vietnam. The next attraction is Vietnam National Museum of Ethnology, the special collection of 54 ethnic minorities in Vietnam.In the afternoon, make your way to Hoan Kiem Lake for Ngoc son Temple and Dong Xuan Market. In the evening, you will be entertained by Water Puppet Show and Vietnamese traditional music at Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre, then transfer to Hanoi Train Station for night train to Sapa. Overnight on the train.
Day 3: Laocai - Sapa (B)
At 6 am, disembark Lao Cai train station then drive up for 1 hour to Sapa, the home of six different hill tribes. Do pre-check in procedure and enjoy "Pho" the typical breakfast for Vietnamese People. The morning walk to Sapa Market where you can find all local ethnic minority's art and craft items and Cat Cat village for Black Hmong village. In the afternoon, you will be free at leisure for your own discovery. Overnight at hotel in Sapa.
Day 4: Sapa - Laocai - Hanoi (B)
In the morning having breakfast at the hotel and drive to the Red Dao village of Ta Phin, and in the afternoon trek through the green Sapa Valley to visit the Black Hmong minority of Lao Chai Village and Giay minority of Ta Van. In the afternoon you will be free until our tour guide go back and take you to Lao Cai for the night train to Hanoi. Overnight on the train.
Day 5: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B, L, D)
Today, get up early for morning Tai Chi with local people at Hoan Kiem lake, then have "Pho" the typical breakfast for Vietnamese people. Leaving Hanoi by road for Halong Bay cruise, enjoy drive though the rural area with scenic view of rice paddy field in the Red River Delta. You may be lucky enough to see cows or pigs on motor bike or Vietnamese kids ridding on water buffalo flying kites. On the way, enjoy famous Vietnamese Coffee at Vietnam Handicraft Certer. Upon arrival, check in Vietnamese wooden cruise in Halong Bay. Journey along the spectacular limestone islands, floating villages while having sea food lunch, then disembark to visit 'Sung Sot' or Surprising Cave, one of the most beautiful grottos in Halong Bay Bay. the nextstop is Titop Island where you could swim on sandy beach or climb up to the top for panoramic view. In the evening, you will be delighted by candle light dinner on board with seafood dishes. Overnight on cruise in Ha Long Bay.
Day 6: Halong Bay - Hanoi - Hue (B, L)
A breakfast will be served in the restaurant with the combination of western style and local cuisines. Then experience the bay up close and personal with a leisure sampan to "Hang Luon" or "Lagoon Cave" which allows you to see flora and fauna system of Catba National Park. Continue to Halong City, disembark and enjoy seafood lunch at local restaurant and drive back to Hanoi airport for a short flight to Hue. Check in Hotel and Overnight at hotel in Hue.
Day 7: Hue (B)
Rise for an early breakfast, followed by a visit to the city's vibrant Dong Ba Market then The Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled the country between 1802 and 1945. After exploring the ruins of this wonderful monument, depart to the Hue Royal Fine Arts Museum and one of Hue's beautiful garden houses. The afternoon dragon boat trip on The Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda allows you to go through history Buddhism in Vietnam then visit King Minh Mang's Tomb and King Khai Dinh' Tomb where you can compare the contrast of traditional and modern architectures. Overnight in Hue hotel.
Day 8: Hue - Hoian (B)
After your breakfast, going to Hoian Ancient Town. On the way, visit the Cham Museum, the last collection of powerful Kingdom of Champa and Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village. In the afternoon, take a walking tour in the ancient town to Japanese Covered Bridge, Phung Hung Ancient House, Phuc Kien Assembly Hall and Chua Ong Pagoda. Overnight in Hoian hotel
Day 9: Hoian - Myson - Hoian (B)
A half day trip to visit the capital and religious centre of the former Champa Kingdom, My Son. Here, 40km southwest of Hoian, in a lush green valley, are dozens of red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from between the seventh and thirteenth centuries. Visit the museum and the holy site then head back to Hoian. in the afternoon, enjoy leisure boat trip to Thanh Ha Ceramic Village. In the evening, free at your leisure, overnight at hotel in Hoian.
Day 10: Hoian - Danang - Hochiminh City (B)
Transfer to Danang Airport after breakfast for a short flight to dynamic Ho Chi Minh City, still called Saigon by many locals. A full day city tour takes in the city's bustling China Town and begins with a visit to the Thien Hau Temple, from where you will take a cyclo ride; the most appropriate and unusual way to explore Cholon, literally meaning Big Market. The ride will take you to the lively Binh Tay Market. Then visit a lacquer ware factory to witness workers continuing a Vietnamese ancestral tradition. After lunch by yourself visit the War Remnants Museum and the former Presidential Palace, from there on you will go on foot (the car will be available at all times) to visit the major sights of colonial Ho Chi Minh City: the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office, Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat), Continental Hotel, Opera House and City Hall. After this historical visit, enjoy some wonderful ice cream at Fanny's, a quaint little parlour with a French atmosphere, before exploring the trendy boutiques on Ton That Thiep Street. Day 11: Hochiminh City - Caibe - Vinhlong - Cantho (Mekong Delta) (B)
Depart for Cai Be, deep in the Mekong Delta and embark on a boat to visit the Cai Be Floating Village, followed by a visit to some locale home factories that produce rice paste, rice popcorn and coconut candy. Proceed to evergreen islands among the Mekong River through a large network of meandering tributaries, crisscrossed with countless arroyos. the cruise to Vinh Long to discover beautiful landscapes along the river and observe the typical Mekong Delta rural life. Drive to Can Tho and transfer to hotel. In the evening, free at your leisure and overnight in Cantho.
Day 12: Cantho - Hochiminh City (B, D)
After breakfast at your hotel, embark on a boat to cruise to the colourful Cai Rang Floating Market and go back to Ho Chi Minh City for shopping in District 1. Tonight, our tour guide will host farewell dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Hochiminh
Day 13: Depart Hochiminh City ( B )
At leisure for shopping until transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for onward flight.
